Oops, I'm a bad blogger! I almost forgot today. I got busy doing a bit of blog hopping and some work over at My Creative Classroom and suddenly the day is almost over.
Luckily, I spent yesterday making a bunch of cards... I do have something to share today.
I was going through my HUGE box of scrap paper when I saw these three patterns. They were from one of my all time FAV kits from K-Ology... I think it was called Addison or something. Anyway... I totally love the blues and the greens together... and I was inspired to make a card using all three patterns. I picked this very simple layout... three similar sized panels... and then decided to jazz it up with even more pattern! I stamped a lined flower image onto each of the patterned papers and cut them out. I found some matching blue buttons and used them as flower centers. Of course, I wanted a bit more texture, so I threaded some ribbon though the bottom button and then covered the seams between the layers with another ribbon strip. The flowers are popped up with dimensionals and the sentiment was part of that same K-Ology kit.
I have no idea who I'm sending this to... or why I picked the sentiment "beautiful," but I LOVE the way it turned out. Hope you like it too.
