Ahhhh, Home Sweet Home... nothing could be nicer than arriving home after a long trip. Home has always been a place to snuggle in... relax... recharge. I love home... and I love this new Welcome Home stamp set illustrated for Gina K Designs by Rupa Shevde!
The set is filled with open line designs of homes, moving trucks, packing boxes and pets and it is paired with some amazing sentiments. My favorite is this Irish Blessing...
May nothing but happiness, come through your door."

In this card, I used both the row of houses and the Irish blessing to make a nice neighborhood scene. I masked the houses and a setting sun, and airbrushed the glowing sky in... Each little window is glowing with light and warmth... makes me want to knock on the door and go in for a visit.
With our recent move, this next card is going to come in handy! I've go SO many people to contact and let them know we moved and share our new contact information... and this is the way I'm going to do it!
This card uses the same row of houses, but I left them uncolored for a very neutral look. I layered black onyx, tan leather (love the texture of this), and lipstick red together for just a pop of color. My favorite part... .that amazing hemp/twine ribbon!!! OMG...it's SO cool... and gives a nice earthy touch. The card itself almost reminds me of all of those packing boxes... LOL
