Can you believe it's mid-November already? If you are like me, you need to start planning for the upcoming holiday season!
Today's hop will be just the thing to get you started as the CardMaker blog team members share their own favorite holiday yummies and gift ideas.
One of my favorite holiday treats is a nice cup of hot chocolate. (Oh, who am I kidding, I like hot chocolate year round! LOL)
I've found that I can make simple "tasty treats" for neighbors and friends by making my own "mix" and putting it into little jars.

Hot Chocolate Mix
- 2 1/2 cups confectioner's sugar
- 1 (16 ounce) container instant chocolate drink mix
Makes 16 cups of mix. Divide mix into small jars or containers. Mix 3-4 tbs. of mix with 1 cup of hot water.

I can create a small gift set by adding an accompanying card. Here I have the "Waiting For Santa" image from Whipper Snapper Designs and a "Holiday Hello" sentiment by Flourishes.
I stamped the sign post a second time and used it to decorate the treat jar. I also added a layer of flower soft on the bottom as snow.
