I know, I know... I said somewhere back in January or February that I would be posting more this year. Well, the years not over yet and I have a few fun things to share with you. LOL
I traveled to Portland, OR for our annual Copic team meeting in October and then wrapped up my teaching schedule with a class in Dallas in November with the amazing Cindy Lawrence, now I'm plugging away getting the resources ready for our new classes that will be launching in January.
Add to that the creating and planning of a new education project, and I've been one busy bee. BUT... it's time to share our latest program... Copic in the Craft Room!
We created this new program specifically for crafters who love their Copics and who want to learn more about them and how to use them. We created a Facebook page as a landing site to share video tutorials, facts-and-figures, tips and tricks, and inspiration from all around the interweb. Visit our page and LIKE us today to share in the fun and learning.
If you have tutorial ideas or Copic craftiness that YOU think should be showcased, please contact me and let me know! (email@example.com)
(Ohhh, and check out the page today for the link to the second video tutorial. Join me in making this adorable PEACE card!)
Have you heard about the new Copic Color & Ink Workshop? It's one of the new education programs available for Copic lovers! I put together a quick video "commercial" for it after our first class in Anaheim... check it out!
You can find out more about the program (along with a supply list, full class details and a list of locations on my Workshop page HERE.
We have two locations open right now for enrollment! And more opening soon!

We will be bringing the Color & Ink Workshop to these locations during 2013:
It took me a bit over an hour to color this image... but you can see me do the whole thing in crazy fast mode! LOL (I do always say that I color fast and crazy!) It's about 14 minutes long...so grab a cuppa something warm and settle in to watch.
Image is Mushroom House from the little house collection at Make It Crafty (I can't wait to color up some of the other houses... talk about whimsical!!!) This is a digital image - and I love that I can make it BIG (full sheet of paper) and really get into adding details and texture.
Sorry I don't have a list of Copic Colors... I used lots of reds, grays (warm and cool) and greens... no blending groups... just colors I liked.
Paper is Color Laser Copier paper... it's what I use when I want to practice or when I am doing large images like this.
In the spirit of full disclosure, I am currently working as a freelance designer and/or educator for Copic and DRG Publishers. While I am compensated by these companies, I maintain the freedom as an independent designer to say what I truly think of their products. I will never recommend something that I don't personally use and enjoy.
